Mildred Bernadette Bolek (nee Smaga) 90, died on October 21, 2012. She was preceded in death by her parents Bronislaw Smaga and Marianna Smaga (Satkiewicz), one sister Mary (Stephen) Maicher, two brothers Alexander Smaga and Bruno Smaga, and her cherished husband of forty-eight years, Frank S. Bolek. A loving and endeared mother, she is survived by her daughter Carol (Wayne) Muskievicz, daughter Christina (Christopher) Durovich, son Mark (Patricia) Bolek, one granddaughter Kaitlyn, three grandsons, Mark (Julie) Muskievicz, Michael Muskievicz and Andrew Bolek, loving sister Florence Pachura (Robert), her God children Joan Martin (Maicher) and Susan Koziol (Pachura) and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be at 9:30 AM on Wednesday October 24, 2012 at St. Andrew the Apostle Church, 768 Lincoln Ave., Calumet City, IL, followed by a mass of Christian burial at 10:00 AM. Interment will immediately follow the mass at Holy Cross Cemetery, Calumet City. In lieu of flowers, memorials for masses may be made to St. Andrew the Apostle Church.
