Herbert F. “Bud” Saller age 84. Longtime Chicago Heights and Crete resident. Former Co-Owner and Operator of Bahlman Oil Company. U.S. Navy Veteran/USS Frank Knox. Member of Theta Chi Fraternity at Valparaiso University. Beecher High School graduate. Beloved husband for 61 years of Melrose “Mel” nee Rhode. Loving father of Lauren (late Jeffrey) Thiesen, Steven (Dana) Saller and Joy (Lawrence) Wells. Grandfather of Adam (Kathryn) and David Thiesen, Grant (Iva), Austin (Donna) and Jordan (Krista) Saller, Ashley and Nicole Wells. Great grandfather of three. Brother of the late Charlene (late Arthur) Graham and William Saller. Uncle and dear friend of many. Bud’s engaging nature and sense of humor will be fondly remembered by those fortunate to have known him. Resting at Panozzo Bros.
