Maedene J. “Mae” Mascitti nee Pignotti, age 69. Lifelong Chicago Heights resident. Wife for 46 years of Ronald R. Mascitti. Mother of Melissa (Chad) Nondorf and Ronnie Mascitti II. Grandmother and “Grammy” of Matthew and Anthony Ramirez and Cameron Nondorf. Daughter of the late Genevieve Lagone and David Pignotti. Sister of Thomas (Eileen) Pignotti. Daughter-in-law of Americo “Racket” and the late Lena nee DeLibertis Mascitti. Dear aunt and beloved friend of many. Mae was a Custodian at Chicago Heights School District 170 the past 15 years. For the past 50 years Mae was responsible for keeping thousands of women beautiful at her hair salon which she proudly maintained in Chicago Heights. Her great joy, were times spent camping and boating with her family. She will be fondly missed by all fortunate to have known her. Visitation will be held at Panozzo Bros. Funeral Home, 530 W. 14th St. (US Rt. 30, 3 blks E. of Western Ave) Chicago Heights on Tuesday April 21st from 3:00 PM to 9:00 Pm. Funeral Wednesday morning 9:15 AM to St. Liborius Church, Steger.
