Mary "Dee" (Yeo) Adam nee Morsbach, age 78. Longtime Flossmoor and Olympia Fields resident. Wife of the late Kenneth B. Yeo and Orval M. Adam. Mother of Nancy (Troy) Reazin, Burt (Christy), Jack (Julie) Yeo and the late Elizabeth Yeo. Grandmother (“Dee Dee”) of Michael (Erin), Patrick, Danny and Elizabeth Reazin, Kenny, Aaron, Hope, Adam, Elizabeth, Peter and Patrick Yeo. Great grandmother of Charlie and Luke Reazin. Stepmother of Margaret (William) Sweeney, Celine (Mark) Lillie, Sarah (Timothy) Ellsworth, Katie (Douglas) Coleman, Bridget (David) Van Eekeren and Charles (Honor) Adam. Sister of Nancy M. (late Winton) Winter and the late John "Jack" Morsbach. Sister-in-law of Caroline (Larry) Eledge and Barbara (William) Ramsey. Beloved aunt and dear friend of many. Dee was born in Evanston, IL and spent her early childhood in Wichita, KS. and her adolescent years in Dallas,TX. After graduating from Ursuline Academy in Dallas, Dee attended the University of Kansas and was a member of the Theta Omega chapter of the Delta Delta Delta sorority. Dee was a proud member of Infant Jesus of Prague Parish where she was heavily involved as a volunteer and also served as Assistant Director of Religious Education for 18 years. Having lost her oldest daughter (Liz) and her husband (Kenny) to cancer, Dee was committed to helping people battle the decease. Along with a dear friend, she co-founded The Village Door consignment shop in Homewood whose proceeds benefit the Cancer Support Center. In 2014, she was honored with the Center’s “Founders Award." Dee was a beloved member of the community with many dear friends. She had a strong, positive impact on the lives of countless people and will be deeply missed. Resting at Panozzo Bros. Funeral Home, 530 W. 14th St. (U.S. Rt. 30, 3 blks E. of Western Ave.), Chicago Heights on Friday March 31st from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Funeral Saturday morning 9:15 AM chapel prayers to Infant Jesus of Prague Church, 1131 Douglas Ave., Flossmoor. Mass 10:00 AM.
