Raymond A. Spanier Jr. PT, age 63 passed away suddenly June 26th. Lifelong resident of Chicago’s Historic Pullman neighborhood. Graduate of Fenger H.S. Ray received his Degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Illinois-Chicago and served for over 20 years as a Physical Therapist throughout Chicago’s southside. A boater, he was a former Commodore and longtime member of the Calumet Yacht Club. Husband of Jinny nee Nowak. Son of Angela nee Bianchin and the late Raymond A. Spanier Sr. Brother of Brenda (Hafiz) Khan and Michael Spanier. Brother in law of Joey (Joy) Nowak and the late Rosemarie Nowak. Beloved “Uncle Ray” to his many nieces and nephews. Resting at Panozzo Bros. Funeral Home, 530 W. 14th St. (U.S. Rt. 30, 3 blks E. of Western Ave.), Chicago Heights on Friday June 30th from 3:00 PM until time of a funeral service at 8:00 PM.
