Robert Hernandez, age 80. Chicago Heights resident formerly of Chicago’s Southeast side/Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish. Native of San Luis Potosi, Mexico. Retired Electrician for US Steel Co. Member IBEW Local 64. Bob enjoyed his retirement years working as a Security Guard at Prairie State College. Father of Victoria (Peter) Knezevich, Robert (Jacquelyn Malizia) Hernandez and Lesley (Albert) Connor. Grandfather of Krista (Will) Diaz, Nicholas Knezevich, Alessandra (Daniel Kennedy) and Isabella Hernandez, Albert and Robert Connor. Brother of Mel Hernandez. Beloved uncle and dear friend of many. Resting at Panozzo Bros. Funeral Home, 530 W. 14^th St. (US Rt. 30, 3 blks E. of Western Ave) Chicago Heights on Monday April 4^th from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Funeral Tuesday morning 9:15 AM chapel prayers to Infant Jesus of Prague Church, Flossmoor. Mass 10:00 AM. Burial private.
