Robert J. “Bob” Weiss, age 70. Peotone resident formerly of Country Club Hills and Dolton. Loving husband for 50 years of Sharon “Sherry” nee Tumpis. Devoted father of Lisa (Jack) Behnke and Lori (Rodney) Meyer. Extremely proud “Grampa” of Madelyn, Marshall, Maya and Macy Meyer. Son of the late Attorney Robert J. Sr. and June Weiss. Bob turned his lifelong love and knowledge of cars into a successful career in the automotive industry as a Location Manager at Bridgestone-Firestone Company stores for 24 years. He enjoyed his classic cars, but none more than his Little Red Corvette. His gift of gab and engaging nature will be missed by all those fortunate to have known him. A Memorial Gathering and service will be held on Sunday afternoon Jan. 25th at the Panozzo Bros. Funeral Home, 530 W. 14th St. (US Rt. 30, 3 blks E. of Western Ave), Chicago Heights from 12 noon until time of services at 4:00 PM. Memorials may be directed to the Kankakee Valley Hospice.
