Roger D. Schanck, age 66. Longtime Oak Forest resident, born and raised in Roseland. Retired member Laborers Union Local #269. Graduate of Mendel Catholic High School. Husband of Wendy nee Wojtas. Son of the late Elaine nee Ores and Roger Schanck. Brother of Merritt (Judy) Schanck. Brother in law of Ron Wojtas, Sandy Engelman, Linda Wojtas, and John Engelman. Roger’s love for life will be fondly remembered by all those fortunate to fish, ride or share a cold beer with him. Memorial Visitation Friday April 7th from 4:00 PM until time of Memorial Service, 7:30 PM at Panozzo Bros. Funeral Home, 530 W. 14th St. (US Rt. 30, 3 blks E. of Western Ave) Chicago Heights.
