Sam J. Curci age 69. Longtime Dolton resident formerly of Chicago’s Roseland neighborhood. Beloved husband for 46 years of Laurie nee Swiontek. Loving father of Donna (Steve) Hennessy and Brian (Sonia) Curci. Doting “Papa” of Brian, Sara and Matthew Hennessy, Andrew and Brianna Curci. Step grandfather of Todd, Ashleigh and Jake Shimek. Cherished son of the late Sam Curci and Jennie nee Nitti. Dear brother of the late Mary (late James, CFD) Adducci and the late Antoinette (late Walter) Bernas. Uncle to nine nieces and nephews. Longtime loyal friend to many. Resting at Panozzo Bros. Funeral Home, 530 W. 14th St. (U.S. Rt. 30, 3 Blks. E. Western Ave.), Chicago Heights on Tuesday June 5th from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Family and friends will meet at St. Jude the Apostle Church, 880 E. 154th St., South Holland, Wednesday morning from 9:30 AM until time of Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM. Laurie, so sorry to hear about Sam. We have fond memories of him. Sorry we cannot attend his funeral as we are currently in Poland. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
