Sam Montana, age 95, passed away peacefully on May 25th. Native of Chicago’s Kensington/Bumtown area. Sam lived many years in Port Richey, Fl and more recently Lockport,Il. Retired Truck Driver and member of Teamsters Local 705. WWII Veteran/US Army Air Corps-Propeller Mechanic. Husband of the late Nancy Montana. Proud member of Loyal Order of Moose, Tarpon Springs, FL. Post. Son of the late Providenzia Scaleta and Antonio Montana, Brother of the late Anna Bulthius, Phillip, Vincent, Joseph and Lucille Montana. Beloved “Uncle Sam” to many nieces, nephews and dear friends. Services were private. Sam will be entombed along with his wife at North Meadowlawn Cemetery, New Port Richey, FL.
