I am so sorry to hear of Sandy's tragic passing! I have fond memories of him from my days at DHS, when he allowed a small group of us to "hide out" to eat our lunch in the janitor's room. May God bless you with His comfort at this time.

My prayers are with you all. Many fond memories of Sandy. So many high school students were touched by his kindness. Thinking of you in this time of loss for your family.

I am very sorry to hear of Santo's passing. What a GREAT guy he was. I met him while in grade school. He came down from Chicago to hunt pheasants around Onarga. My Dad never really trusted "Chicago hunters", but Santo was an exception to say the least. Introduced by my Uncle Joe Kanosky and verified to be a true good guy. We had many good hunting outings over the years. He was like a second father to me. The quail hunting trip to Southern Illinois was just one of the great memories I have of Santo. He was the one who took my cousin Joe and me on a ride along on Chicago's South Side...that was interesting to say the least. Santo also was the one who took me to Great Lakes Naval Training Center the day I reported for recruit training. He was a great friend to all of my family and many others for sure. I will miss him as I know all who considered him a friend will also miss him. His laugh and warm friendship were always there. God Bless him.

I remember him from Donovan, as well. He always passed out 50 cent pieces at Halloween.

Dear family of Santo Bonaguro, I am very sorry to hear that you have lost a loved one in death. Sometimes we may wonder if we'll ever see our dead loved ones again, and the answer is yes! The Bible mentions at John 5:28,29 that there is going to be a "resurrection." We have the hope of seeing our loved ones again, resurrected in Paradise on earth in the near future. At that time, we are promised at Revelation 21:4 that "death will be no more." These scriptures give evidence of the resurrection hope Santo can have in the near future, and of the hope you can have to see him again in person. I hope these scriptures are a comfort to you, and my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
