Terlino “Ted” Cortese age 81. Schererville resident, formerly of Calumet City and Chicago’s Roseland neighborhood. Proud member of IBEW Local 134. Retired after over 25 years of service as an electrician at the Harris Bank Building in Chicago’s Loop. Beloved husband for 50 years of the late Eleanor nee Rodgers. Loving father of Jacqueline (Joseph) Herald and Michael (Deborah) Cortese. Devoted grandfather of Joey, Colette and Kevin Herald. Son of the late Teresa nee Zorzi and Giovanni Cortese. Brother of the late Giannina Hinic and Anthony Cortese. Ted will be affectionately remembered by his loving companion, Rose Lester; caring friend, Roberta Lester; special niece Dara (Sal) Nuzzo, and many other nieces and nephews. Resting at Panozzo Bros. Funeral Home, 530 W. 14th St. (U.S. Rt. 30, 3 blks E. of Western Ave.), Chicago Heights on Saturday February 24th from 12:00 Noon until time of funeral service at 2:30 PM.
