William H. Zegers age 83. Longtime Flossmoor resident formerly of Chicago’s South Shore/St. Philip Neri Parish. Proprietor and operator of Zegers Inc. U.S. Navy Veteran of the Korean War. 1949 Mt. Carmel High School graduate. Friends and family will always remember Bill as the life of the party, but his kindness, generosity and devotion to his wife and family was second to none.
Husband for 60 years of Suzanne nee Sheen. Father of Barbara (Kenneth) Graham, Suzanne Zegers, William H. (Sibyl) Zegers, Nancy (James) Mitros, Harry (Cristin), James (Maureen), John (Nicole) and Christopher (Cora) Zegers. Beloved “Papa” of Kelly Graham, Conner and Riley Zegers, Mary Erin, Catherine, John and Anna Mae Mitros, Ava, Harrison, Piper, Morgan, Savannah, Jack, Dylan, William and Izabella Zegers. Brother of Barbara (late Lee) Wieland. Loving uncle of many. Resting at Panozzo Bros. Funeral Home, 530 W. 14th St. (U.S. Rt. 30, 3 blks E. of Western Ave.), Chicago Heights on Friday May 30th from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Funeral Saturday 9:15 AM to Infant Jesus of Prague Church, 1101 Douglas Ave., Flossmoor. Mass 10:00 AM. Interment St. Mary Cemetery, Evergreen Park.
