Albert Srebalus of Lakeview, Arkansas, passed away March 28, 2021, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 93. He was born April 17, 1927, in Chicago Heights, Illinois, the son of Albert and Florence Baron Srebalus. Albert worked for Ford Motor Company at the Ford Stamping Plant and was a veteran of the United States Army. He was a lifetime member of the American Legion and the VFW. Albert lived in Lakeview since moving from Chicago Heights, IL, in 1993. He enjoyed camping and traveling and never missed his three week summer vacations. He was always doing handyman work around the house and was happy to help family and friends when needed. Albert is survived by his wife of 66 years, Irean Srebalus of Lakeview, AR; children, Marian and Joe Srebalus of Lakeview, AR; grandchildren, Susan Srebalus and Emily Srebalus of Reston, VA; brother, Edward Srebalus of Houston, TX; aunt, Gertrude Kozlowski Glen Ellyn, IL and a number of cousins, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Walter and Arthur Srebalus, Sr. Resting Panozzo Bros. Funeral Home, 530 W 14th St (US Rt 30, 3 blks E of Western Ave), Chicago Heights on Wednesday April 7, 2021, from 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm. Funeral Thursday April 8, 2021 9:15 from funeral home to St Kieran Church, Chicago Heights. Mass 10:00 AM. Entombment St Casimir Cemetery, Chicago. I always looked up to and admired Uncle Al. I think I was always somewhat afraid of him even though he was always nice and kind to little "steverino". I never wanted to disappoint him and will miss him a lot.
