Anna “Dolly” Pignotti age 88. Lifelong Chicago Heights resident. Retired in 1980 as Personnel Dpt. Insurance Clerk at Owens-Illinois (Kimble Glass) after over 38 years of service. She was proud of her career there, which she began at the age of 16, but happy to retire and have time to enjoy life, winter in Ft. Myer, Florida, and travel with her best friend and sister, Stella. A longtime member of San Rocco Parish, she was an active member of the Mother Cabrini Society, the South Chicago Heights Nifty Over Fifty Club, and various bowling and golf leagues. Daughter of the late Julia nee Granno and Louis Pignotti. Sister of the late Helen “Chick” (Robert) Ziebell, Mary (late Americo) Lagone, Frances (late Michael) Novelli, David (late Martha), Peter (late Mary), and Stella Pignotti. Loving and cherished “Aunt Dolly” of many nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews. Her enthusiasm, energy, and zest for life will be dearly missed. Resting at Panozzo Bros. Funeral Home, 530 W. 14th St (US Rt. 30, 3 Blks E. of Western Ave) Chicago Heights on Friday May 31st from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Funeral Saturday 9:15 AM to St. Kieran Church, Chicago Heights.
