Anthony John Vuco age 89 passed away peacefully December 3rd in Iowa City, Iowa. Longtime resident of Park Forest before retiring to Jensen Beach, FL. Retired employee from Swift Co. and Polk Bros. U.S. Army Veteran 13th and 82nd Airborne Division/WWII. Husband for 64 years of Jean Ruth Erickson. Father of Mark Vuco, Steve (Chris) Vuco, Diane (Steve) Clark, Mary Jean (Dan) Briody. Grandfather of Kevin, Stephanie and Jennifer Clark; Kevin and Brendan Briody. Son of the late John Vuco and Mary nee Drazic. Brother of the late Bert (Andrew), Jenny and Sister Mary Martha Vuco. An avid Chicago White Sox and Bears fan. Resting at Panozzo Bros. Funeral Home, 530 W. 14th St. (U.S. Rt. 30, 3 blks E. of Western Ave.), Chicago Heights on Friday December 7th from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Funeral Saturday 9:15 AM to St. Irenaeus Church, Orchard Dr. & Indianwood Blvd., Park Forest. Mass 10:00 AM. Interment St. Mary Cemetery, Evergreen Park. 708-481-9230.
