Bruna Sandrina Houlihan, nee Toniazzo, age 81, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 12, 2014 in Brookfield, Wisconsin. Longtime resident of Chicago’s Roseland neighborhood and Wauwatosa, WI. Caring wife of the late Francis "Babe" Houlihan. Beloved mother of Sheila (Steven) Daily, Erin (Duke) Lehto, Daniel Houlihan and Mary Frances (George) Mistrioty. Loving "Noni" of Christina and Annabelle Daily, Joseph, Nicole and Danielle Lehto, and Dennis, Frank and Katina Mistrioty. Daughter of the late Lucia and Antonio Toniazzo. Sister of Idelma and the late Dialmo, Cleofonte and Oscar. Fond aunt, cousin and friend of many, including those at Care-Age of Brookfield. Bruna was a funny, talented entertainer, both on stage at Sunset Playhouse in Elm Grove, WI and in everyday life. Creative and passionate, generous and empathetic, she was truly one-of-a-kind. Visitation Saturday, March 22 at Our Lady of the Ridge, 10826 S. Oxford Ave., Chicago Ridge, from 9:00 AM until time of Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM. Please omit flowers due to Lenten season.
