Daniel Zagone, age 33.  Crete resident formerly of Chicago Heights.  Bloom High School graduate.  A small engine repair specialist, Dan had over 10 years of service with Keith’s Power Equipment in Steger.  Devoted father of Amilia Zagone.  Beloved son of Kathlyn nee Watts and John P. Zagone.  Cherished brother of Andrea (Jason Stitnizky), Alyssa (Roman Martinez) and John J. (Candice Hensley) Zagone. Proud uncle of Alayna, Isabella, Anaya, Cataleya, Frank, Sophia and Vincent.  Nephew, cousin and friend of many.  Resting at Panozzo Bros. Funeral Home, 530 W. 14th St. (U.S. Rt. 30, 3 blks E. of Western Ave.), Chicago Heights on Tuesday March 26th from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM.  Funeral service Wednesday morning 11:00 AM.  Burial Assumption Cemetery, Glenwood.  708-481-9230 or

    I can’t even think of the right words to say.   You have left a hole in all of us that loved you.  I think of so many fun times we had as kids and even more of the fun times we had as adults.  I will always remember the laughs.   I love you cousin and please know I will always keep a piece of you with me.

    Such warm memories of Daniel from Ribfest. He loved being there and would give me the biggest hugs when he arrived and before he left. He was such a sweet young man and I will miss those hugs

    Daniel, My Brother we've had some great times together, you're truly missed already, so many great things have been mentioned about you all I can think of is some of the craziest conversations we've shared, thank you for the great friendship.     I was so sorry to hear about Daniel.  He was a blessing to me and everyone who knew him.  His sense of humor kept me laughing and I will always remember him as an intelligent and good natured student.  My sympathies to all of you.
