Donald D. Helmick age 81. Longtime Tinley Park and Posen resident passed away February 28th in Las Vegas, NV. where he had resided the last 11 years. U.S. Air Force Veteran. Don retired in 1989 after over 30 years of service as a Lineman/Troubleshooter for Commonwealth Edison. Husband for 47 years of the late Marion L. nee Ek. Father of Cynthia (Robert) Dau and Sandra Portolese. Grandfather of Ashley Dau, Rachel (Doug) Schaap, Jeffrey (Mistiara) Tatum, JenniferTatum, and Persian Mitchell. Greatgrandfather of Mia Ann, Jayden, Jamari, Jaiana and Justus. Beloved cousin and friend of many. Resting at Panozzo Bros.
