    Marilyn & family,

I am so sorry for your loss. Dwight was like a father figure to me. Dwight made working at Kindra fun for me. His sense of humor was one of a kind. His passion for the White Sox was 2nd to none. I am so proud to sit here and write to you guys and let you know how much Dwight meant to me and my family. He was a great man. From all the years working with Dwight and all the family gatherings that Marilyn and Dwight came to brought lots of joy to my life. I will deeply miss our long conversations on the cell phone about work, sports, and life in general. I will miss the phone calls about the tv not coming on or the tablet not working and me being able to walk Dwight through it because he just wanted Marilyn to be happy. There is not one bad thing I can say about this man. Dwight you were one of my best friends and I will remember you always. In the words of Hawk Harrilson, HE Gone!!!!! but Dwight will never ever be forgotten. Rest in Peace buddy. I miss you already.

I just saw Dwight's obituary and was shocked to hear of his passing. Dwight was a shipmate of mine in 2nd Div. aboard USS AMERICA CVA-66. We sailed together in the Mediterranean Sea in 1967 and Vietnam in 1968. I was going to surprise him with a call from four of us at our reunion next week. Always enjoyed talking with him, even got to spend some time with him and Marilyn at their home a number of years ago. You will be missed my friend. Rest easy shipmate, we have the watch.
