Francis “Babe” Houlihan, age 81, passed away on Monday, October 21st at home in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin. Longtime resident of Chicago’s Roseland neighborhood. Dedicated husband of Bruna nee Toniazzo. Beloved father of Sheila (Steven) Daily, Erin (Duke) Lehto, Daniel Houlihan and Mary Frances (George) Mistrioty. Loving grandfather of Christina and Annabelle Daily, Joseph, Nicole and Danielle Lehto, and Dennis, Frank and Katina Mistrioty. Son of the late Frances nee Montalto and James Houlihan. Brother of the late James (Dolores) Houlihan. A favorite uncle, cousin and friend of many. He was a retired salesman for Colgate-Palmolive Company and Milwaukee's Shorewest Realty. In addition to being a devoted family man and hands-on Grandpa, Babe was a bowler, golfer and stage performer, especially at Sunset Playhouse in Elm Grove, WI. He will be remembered for his love of people, music and singing, as well as his great storytelling. Resting at Panozzo Bros. Funeral Home, 530 W. 14th St. (U.S. Rt. 30, 3 blks E. of Western Ave.), Chicago Heights on Sunday October 27th from 1:00pm until time of Funeral Service at 4:00pm. Graveside burial services Monday 11:00am at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Worth, IL. 708-481-9230
