Francis L. “Frank” Kieffer age 78. Longtime Glenwood resident, native of Madison, SD; passed away peacefully in the comfort of his home, surrounded by family on May 31, 2014. He is preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Estella and beloved son Steve. Survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Diane. Dearest father of Debbie, David (Alia), Michelle (Glenn), Michael, Jennifer (Kevin), Dawn (Dominic), and Katie (Mike). Amazing grandfather of Chris, Ashley, Skyler, Sydney, David, Jason, Melissa, Kayla, Gianna, Samantha, Jake, Enrique, Maren, Hannah, Phinn, Liam and Eddie. Francis served as a U.S. Marine and was an extremely dedicated Husband, Father, Grandfather and Best Friend. He will be forever known for his compassionate, generous, humoristic, and supportive heart. The world has lost a fantastic man but heaven has gained an angel. Resting at Panozzo Bros. Funeral Home, 530 W. 14th St. (U.S. Rt 30, 3 blks E. of Western Ave.), Chicago Heights on Sunday June 8th from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Funeral Services Monday morning 11:00 AM.
