In prayer last night, I recalled Genine's ready conversation to discuss her life happenings on Monday mornings, on the 1st day back after school breaks and during the Scholastic book fair during Catholic Schools week. I smiled and wept.

I recalled her sweet smile, kind heart, compassionate soul, delightful laugh and loving hugs.  She was a great conversationalist and I enjoyed each short talk or long discussion. I recalled her love of cooking and recipe books; her description of vacation and family time. I smiled and wept.

She LOVED her family, friends, schoolmates and teachers.  My time with Genine will always be remembered with a smile and a swell of pride for having known and loved such a sweet young lady.

Genine has such a special place in my heart❤️❤️
I thank God for the rich legacy of love and compassion she left as wonderful examples for us to follow.

Genine was such a sweetheart & always had a smile on her face. She would always come right up to me and start a conversation. The last time I saw her I remember she made me a paper ninja star and I hung it in my operatory. I I am heartbroken that she is gone too soon. The loss of a child truly has to be the worst kind of loss anyone can experience. My heart goes out to the Algenio family. May Genine Rest in Peace & may God give strength to all the friends and family of Genine as they deal with this tragic loss.

I hadn't met this lovely young lady; but I feel as though I've known her through her Auntie Gigi.  I know she is a very special child.  Her photos show her spirit. I was in shock when I heard the I had prayed for her recovery. My heart hurts for her family as they endure her loss from this world. She has left a bright legacy of her interrupted short life. I wish them strength and peace in their hearts and minds.  Blessings to the family.<3

You will always be with me. In my heart. I'm my mind, and with my soul. Everyday,. The times I spent with you, were special and beautiful. I will cherish your beautiful smile forever. You have been set free of pain, free of sorrows, free of hate, and free of negative things.  You brought joy and love to my life. You brought strength, to all those who need it the most. You were kind, loving, and forgiving. Your father and I will be forever grateful for you. Love you "mermaid".
