Georgianne “Georgia” C. DePasquale nee Chambers. Age 79. Longtime Olympia Fields resident, formerly of Chicago’s Roseland Neighborhood. Graduate of Gompers Elementary School; Fenger High School class of 1959, where she was very involved in many clubs and activities including staff writer for the school newspaper and awarded membership into the international Quill and Scroll Society for outstanding journalism; received membership into the “Phorex Society” for outstanding academic performance, and Chicago State Teachers College. After 34 years of following her passion for teaching, retired from Chicago Public School Langston Hughes Elementary. During her career she became a sponsor for the Beta Club which promoted leadership and higher education in students. Officer and member of the Olympia Fields Woman’s Club and support for annual fund raiser for Animal Rescue. Georgia was a Stage 4 Cancer survivor for 28 years. She provided unconditional and moral support to anyone battling the different stages of cancer and other life challenges. Wife of the late Thomas DePasquale. Daughter of the late Anne nee Novak and Roy Chambers. Sister of Diane Booth and Susanne (Lee) Chambers-Johnson. Aunt and friend of many. Resting at Panozzo Bros. Funeral Home, 530 W 14th St (US Rt 30, 3 blks E of Western Ave), Chicago Heights on Saturday May 22, 2021 from 8:30 AM until 10:30 AM to Infant Jesus of Prague Church, Flossmoor. Mass 11:00 AM. Sue & Lee,
Bob and I extend our deepest sympathy. We will miss Georgia so very much. She was a very special friend to us. We still treasure our memory when you came with her to visit us in Port Washington. We remember so many wonderful times we shared with Tom and Georgia. We are so sorry we can not be there to see both of you. We will keep everyone in our thoughts and prayers.

Dearest Sue & Lee, We were so sorry to hear of Georgia's passing. Georgia was so extraordinary in her 79 years! And what a special sister Georgia was!! You were so close & had so many life adventures & great times together, you three!! Our most heartfelt sympathy to you both.
