Co-owner along with his brother-in-law Jim (Delores) Wood, of Terrace Barber Shop located at Olympia Plaza in Chicago Heights for over 40 years. U.S. Army Veteran of WWII. Adored husband of the late Mary Jean nee Testa. Cherished father of Roberta (Alfred) Dreifke, Renee (Christopher) Reeves, Karen Filippi Heath and the late Brian (Judy) Filippi. Revered grandfather of Michelle (Benjamin) Draus, Scott (Lee-Alison) Wilson, Melissa (Perry) Bernardin, Matthew Reeves, Hyacynth (John) Worth and Jillian (Mike) Valkanet. Great grandfather of 11. Brother of Robert (late Joyce) Filippi. Beloved uncle and dear friend of many. Resting at Panozzo Bros. Funeral Home, 530 W. 14th St. (U.S. Rt. 30, 3 blks E. of Western Ave.), Chicago Heights on Friday Nov. 30th from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Funeral Saturday 11:15 AM to St. Kieran Church, Chicago Heights.
