Graduate of Bloom High School Class of 1963. Retired from St James Hospital after 50 years service working in the Business Office. Wife of the late Jose M. Vela. Mother of Theresa Roberson, Cecilia (Michael) LoCicero, Claudia (David) Ellis, and Jaclyn (Billy) Adams III. Former mother in-law of Gary Roberson. Devoted grandmother of Jeffrey Jones, Julia Roberson, Geena LoCicero, Alexus Vela, Jeremy Roberson, Geno LoCicero, Daniel Vela, Prinze Ellis-Vela, Jenna Roberson and Joseph Ellis-Vela. Great-grandmother of Eden Daniels. Daughter of the late Maria nee Romo and Alvaro Alvarez. Sister of Armando (Jesusita), Philip, Angela, and the late Oscar Alvarez. Dear aunt and friend to many. Resting at Panozzo Bros. Funeral Home, 530 W. 14th St. (U.S. Rt. 30, 3 blks E. of Western Ave.), Chicago Heights on Tuesday October 10th from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM.     I am so sorry about the death of your dear loved one. May you find comfort and peace from Almighty God's promise to reunite us with our family and friends on a peaceful earth. (Acts 24:15) Until theses promises are fulfilled may we all lean on the God of all comfort, to comfort us during time of distress.
