Gregory L. Real, age 68, passed away suddenly Sunday evening March 18th. Longtime Matteson resident, native of Elgin, IL. Graduate of Marian Catholic High School – Class of 1967, and received his B.S. in Accounting from St. Joe’s College in Rensselear, IN. A C.P.A. specializing in the foam industry for over 30 years, he was serving as Operations Manager for Opflex Enviromental Technologies at the time of his passing. Husband for 46 years of the late Lana nee DiMaggio. Father of Jason, Anthony (Wendy), Lana Marie and Frank (Emily) Real. Grandfather of Luciana and Trevor Real. Son of the late Marilyn June nee Meyers and Richard Real. Brother of Nancy, Richard (Linda) Real and the late William (Roxanne Carpenter) Real and Sharon Baxter. Uncle and dear friend of many. Resting at Panozzo Bros. Funeral Home, 530 W. 14th St. (U.S. Rt. 30, 3 blks E. of Western Ave.), Chicago Heights on Friday March 23rd from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
