My sympathies to the Stefanisin family. I am very sorry for your loss. Losing a loved one in death is the most devastating experience we could endure. This is not what God purposed for us, but because of the world we live in, it is too common to lose our dear loved ones in death. There is a hope for the future. One day God will undo death, the effects that it causes, and the pain that it leaves with us. Jeremiah 29:11 says, "For I well know the thoughts that I am thinking toward you,’ declares Jehovah, ‘thoughts of peace, and not of calamity, to give you a future and a hope." Almighty God wants nothing more than to give us a future and a hope- that is, a future where "death will be no more," and a hope of being reunited with our dear loved ones we have lost in death. (Revelation 21:4; John 5:28,29)
