John Baptist Sola age 93 was called home by the Lord April 14, 2012 and on eagles wings he soared. Retired after 50 years as a Product Design Engineer for MALCO Tools. He was a Godly devoted, loving husband for 65 years to his beloved wife Jeanne nee Brazzale. Dedicated, patient, kind and giving father to Judy (John) Mueller, Claudia (David) Looyenga, Lynn (late Jim) Emme, Laurie (Al) Moustakis and Kim (Mike) Billings. Loving and involved grandfather to Eric Skochinski, Michael (Sherry), and Tim (Crissy) Gregori, Cara (Mike) Bencic, Ian and Devyn Emme, Mati, Sydney and Alex Moustakis and Nikki Billings. Adoring and tender great grandfather to Nick, Lexi, Dom, Joey, Leonzio and Anthony. Brother of the late Blanche Comparin, Rose Zack and Olga Sola. Brother-in-law of Florence (late Raymond) Sartori. Beloved uncle and dear friend to many. A U.S. Navy Veteran/WWII, he served as a torpedo man and an educator of high math. He had unwavering faith in our Lord Jesus Christ and was a walking testament to the love of God. The legacy he leaves is the love of family and the importance of this circle of love that forever will be united. Visitation Wednesday, April 18, 2012, from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Markiewicz Funeral Home, P.C. 108 Illinois St., Lemont.
