John was a great guy/friend. Always happy, cheerful, and giving. Helped me out at times when needed a job. Always enjoyed his company hanging out and having a drink.

Johnny & I were classmates at St Anthony and our dads (my dad was Silvio Merlo) were good friends many, many years ago. I’ll always remember his red hair and dimples. My deepest sympathy to the Salin family.
