Graduate of University of Connecticut, he received a Masters in School Psychology from Illinois State University and his Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Loyola University. John retired from the Social Security Adminstration and had worked for Chicago Heights School Districts 170 and 206/Speed. John was a proud Licensed Pilot. Husband for 46 years of Maryellen nee Truitt. Father of Gilda (Luis) Rivera, John T. Tomassetti III, Nicole (Ben) McGill, Angela (Christopher) Glaesner and the late Tammy Tomassetti, Lynne Corrado and Joanne Duprey. Grandfather of 9. Son of the late Gilda nee Sirianni and John T.
