Retired Tool and Die Maker after 42 years of service from Ford Motor Company. Husband for 50 years of the late Mary Beth nee Zylstra. Father of Richard (Cindy) Mantoan and the late Joseph (late Victoria) Mantoan Jr. Grandfather of Ariel (Anthony) Hernandez, Anthony, Alex, Samantha and RJ Mantoan. Great grandfather of Mariana Hernandez. Son of the late Alice nee Zarantonello and Bruno Mantoan. Brother of Mary Jo (Jim) Bushell, Jackie (Bob) Fattore, Rita (Larry) Rosen and Dr Richard (Karen) Mantoan. Uncle and friend of many. Memorial visitation at Panozzo Bros. Funeral Home, 530 W 14th Street (US Rt 30, 3 blks E of Western Ave), Chicago Heights on Sunday February 27, 2022 from 1:00 pm until time of memorial services 4:00 pm. Interment private. To the family of Joe Mantoan
Please accept my sincere sympathy at the passing of your beloved Joe. He was a good fellow and my memories of him are that he was a fine young man and good friend to many classmates. I was hoping to see him at our St. Felicitas Class reunion in September 2022 but now that is not a possibility. I will remember Joe fondly and trust that he is at rest now in the hands of God. I will remember Joe and the Mantoan family in my prayers.
