Josephine “Pina” Costello nee Nertoli passed away peacefully on Saturday Sept 24th, her 93rd birthday. Longtime Blue Island resident formerly of Chicago’s Roseland neighborhood/St. Anthony Parish. Pullman Tech graduate. Proud employee of Sherwin-Williams Paint Company. Wife of the late Saverio “Sal” Costello. Mother of Sally (Brian) Winters, Dorothy (Robert) Plank and David Costello. Grandmother of Anthony and Thomas Stumpf, Tamara Holderman, Deborah Palmer, Robert Plank, David and Theresa Costello. Great grandmother of 15. Sister of the late Catherine (late Frank) Matusik and Eleanore (late Carl) Nagel. Aunt of David Matusik and Dennis Nagel. Resting at Panozzo Bros. Funeral Home, 530 W. 14th St. (US Rt. 30, 3 blks E. of Western Ave) Chicago Heights on Tuesday Sept. 27th from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Family and friends will at St. Anthony Church, 11533 S.
