Peter Cannella, age 68, passed away peacefully on Friday January 15th. Born Sept. 14, 1947 in Chicago’s Roseland neighborhood, he had been a longtime Mokena resident. Retired after over 30 years of service as a Bus Operator for the CTA. Served with the US Army Special Forces/Green Berets during the Vietnam War. Graduate of Fenger High School. Father of Lisa Marie and Amy Cannella. Son of the late Norma nee Cappozzo and Peter Cannella. Brother of Joann (Robert) Shaller. Former husband of Debra nee Weddington. Loving nephew, cousin, uncle and friend of many. Resting at Panozzo Bros. Funeral Home, 530 W. 14th St. (US RT. 30, 3 blks E. of Western Ave) Chicago Heights on Tuesday January 19th from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
