Peter John Lellos. Age 51. passed away suddenly March 4, 2021. Palos Heights resident formerly of Chicago’s Bridgeport Neighborhood. Graduate of Sandburg High School Class of 1987 and Michigan State University Class of 1992. Fraternity brother and member of Theta Chi. Worked various restaurant venues in the Chicagoland and Indianapolis area and as a real estate appraiser. In Peter’s past time he enjoyed fishing, doing projects around the house and was the Master Chef for many family and friend gatherings. Husband for 12 years of Jennifer nee Webb. Father of Nicholas and Zachary Lellos. Son of John E. (Mary) Lellos and the late Victoria nee Panozzo. Dear nephew and friend of many. My deepest sympathies to Jenn, Nick, Zach, and all who loved Pete. For 40 years, Pete was my wing man. My Brother, my best friend, and my rock. There by my side for every significant event in my life, both good and bad. He was the one thing in my life that I could always count on, and there is hardly a memory I have that doesn't include Pete. When I think about all those times we had together, I keep hearing his laugh. He will always be an integral part of who I am now, and forever.
We never had to say it, because we both knew...we loved, valued and cherished our friendship. I wish you all the best in the ever after, and will be looking for you when I get there. Have a cold one ready for me, and be ready to laugh about all the good times we had, and the times we missed together.

Deepest sympathies to the Lellos Family and Friends. Jenn I know I speak for many of Pete's friends when I say that I will always be here for you, Nick and Zach.
Pete was a best friend to many including me. He was a brother, a great teammate, and a great fishing buddy. Not many people could catch fish like that man! Pete was one of the most genuine people I ever knew and I could count on him for anything. It's hard to imagine how life will be without him around. So many memories starting in grade school... man we all had a good time together!
Pete I'm gonna miss you a ton brother. Hope the fishing is good where your at.

There were a few Theta Chi brothers that you could count on every year for our Barothy Lodge fishing trip, and Pete was one of them. We were all happy to see "Big Daddy Lel" or Just "Lel when he pulled up. Always great to be around, he seemed to be the steward and chef at each trip, always preparing some food or snacks for everyone. Mellow, funny, a great Spartan fan, and even better fishing mentor. Helped me with my fishing rig most years (if I could wake up and catch him before he rolled out each morning). Pete had great stories and loved life and was a warm human being to be around. Pete laughed a lot, too, at all our embellished stories when we reconnected each year and we stayed up late into the night many times just being ourselves and enjoying our brotherhood. My prayers are with his wife Jenn and his boys, he loved them so much, and talked about them often on our trips. Pete's spirit will be with us on each fishing trip and Spartan game, and we will miss him.
