    To the entire Petrarca Family,

I am so saddened to hearing of Richie's passing. He'll always be Richie to me! He was like 'The Boss' to us growing up. Always looking out for all of us. Very street smart and tough. Heart as big as a anyone! I always respected him and how we was an awesome big brother. Heck, I sorta felt like he was big brother for many years up through Junior year at HF. He had my back many times!

I remember how he carried himself and was a great example!! I could go on with many more accolades, but I'm sure many more will follow from others.

I'm sorry I can't be there with you all to mourn and also celebrate his life. But know my heart is heavy and my eyes moist!

Rich was a great man, a friend, and a mentor to me during our time at Staples.

He was always looking out for my development both personally and professionally, and he will be sorely missed.

In the days and years that pass I will remember fondly his legacy and the good deeds he did.

Rich was a very big part of my life for many years after high school and he will always hold a special place in my heart. I know that family was everything to him and I offer my sincere condolences to his wife Susan, his mom Francine, his brothers John, Dan, and Chris, and to all the extended family. I pray for God to provide comfort and peace to all of you. RIP Rich.

I was heartbroken to hear the news of Richie's passing!  He was a terrific guy who was revered by many and loved by everyone who kew him.  His loss will affect us all.  I may be unable to attend Sunday's service to pay my respects to one of my favorite golfing partners but, rest assured, that I will remember Richie in a Special Novena to St. Joseph, Patron of Departing Souls, and will add his name to the (too) long list of friends and family who have entered God's loving embrace as I say my Daily Rosary.  Fairways and greens in Paradise, pal ... may the Perpetual Light shine upon you.
