Richard Kruis, age 72. Longtime Chicago Heights resident. Born and raised in Sneek, Netherlands. He immigrated with his family to the U.S. in 1956. Retired Director of Radiology for St. James Hospital, Olympia Fields. Husband for 50 years of Loretta nee Lizzio. Father of Richard (Sheryl), Steven (Lynn) Kruis and Lisa (Michael) Pavalon. Grandfather of Ryan, Lauren, Richard, Philip, Emma, Katherine, Grace, Steve, Veronica and Justin. Great grandfather of Aubrey. Brother of John (Grayce), Sam (Eleanor), Joseph (Roger Paulsen) and Peter (Marylin) Kruis. Beloved uncle and dear friend of many. Resting at Panozzo Bros. Funeral Home, 530 W. 14th St. (U.S. Rt. 30, 3 blks E. of Western Ave.), Chicago Heights on Thursday June 18th from 3:00 PM until time of service at 7:30 PM.
