Robert Allen Patterson, age 93. Longtime Olympia Fields resident, born and raised in Chicago’s Morgan Park neighborhood. A noted Creative & Art Director in Chicago’s advertising circles, he worked many years at McCann-Erickson, and Marcoa Direct advertising firms. He served on Morgan Park High Schools Alumni Association for many years and was a proud member of Sigma Chi Fraternity when he attended the University of Colorado. He honorably served with the U.S. Army Air Corps during WWII. Husband of 62 years to the late Dolores “Ronnie” nee Rodenkirch. Father of Mark (Cheryl) Patterson MD, Victoria (late Daniel DDS) Dieska, Randall (Donna), Robert (Beth) and Todd (Lisa) Patterson DO. “Grandad”of Christopher DDM, and Charles (Kaycie) Patterson, Cpt. Matthew USMC, Dana and Chad Dieska, Julie (Tim) McDonnell, Jaclyn (Thomas) Walsh MD, Tyler (Kristin), Jacob, Joshua, Brett, and Ryan Patterson. Great “Grandad” of Jack McDonnell. Beloved son of the late Evelyn nee Eskildsen and Dever Patterson. Uncle and dear friend of many. An accomplished artist, he also enjoyed the challenges of golf, the guitar and other string instruments. Resting at Panozzo Bros.
