Husband of the late Virginia “Ginny” (nee Kunis) Mathews. Father of Carol Mathews and Linda (Ronald) Mathews-Horwath. Loving “Grandpa” of Renee Mathews and Mckenzie Horwath. Son of the late Florence (nee Sullivan) and Floyd Mathews. Uncle and dear friend of many. Funeral Thursday August 28th 9:15 Am from Beverly Ridge Funeral Home, 10415 S. Kedzie to St. Bernadette Church, Mass 10:00 AM. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Visitation Wednesday 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM. (773) 779-4411.
