Albin “Al” P. Malukas. Age 86. Longtime Glenwood resident formerly of Chicago’s Roseland Neighborhood. Graduate of Fenger High School Class of 1951. U.S. Army Veteran Korean War. Retired from Acme Steel as a Millrite. Usher and volunteer at St John Catholic Church and volunteer for AmVets Glenwood Post 268. Wife for 64 years of Joan nee Regh. Father of Diane O’Connor and the late Linda Malukas. Grandfather of Meghan (Danny) Bruggeman. Great-grandfather of Micah Bruggeman. Son of the late Barbara nee Zuboras and George Malukas. Brother Peter (late Mary) Malukas, the late Louise Malukas and Emily (late Leo) Ziemba. Uncle and friend of many. Memorial visitation at St John Catholic Church, 301 Cottage Grove Ave., Glenwood on Friday August 9th from 10:30 am until time of funeral mass at 11:00 am. Interment private.
