Aldo N. Fanti, age 87. Longtime New Lenox resident formerly of Calumet Park and Chicago’s Historic Pullman Neighborhood. An educator and school administrator, Aldo retired in 1985 as Superintendent of Summit Hill School District in Mokena. U.S. Navy Veteran/WWII. Husband for 65 years of Dolores nee Samuels. Father of Mary Beth (Ric) Rebollar and Rosemary Fanti. Devoted “Nonno” of Dominic Rebollar. Brother of the late Anthony “Enzo” (late Catherine) Fanti. Beloved “Uncle Aldo”, and dear friend of many. Aldo was a graduate of Quigley Preparatory High School and received his Bachelors Degree and Master in Education Administration from Loyola University. He was a Past Grand Knight and 4th Degree member, Knights of Columbus, an avid and accomplished hunter and proud NRA member. Resting at Panozzo Bros. Funeral Home, 530 W. 14th St. (U.S. Rt 30, 3 Blks E. of Western Ave) Chicago Heights on Tuesday March 11th from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Funeral Wednesday 9:00 AM to St. Jude Church, 241 W. 2nd Ave, New Lenox. Mass 10:00 AM. Burial Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood.
