Barbara K. Basler nee Ryan age 75. Longtime park Forest resident formerly of Roseland. Retired in 2000 from Governors State University Printing Office after over 25 years of service. Fenger High School graduate. Wife of the late Henry “Hank” Basler. Mother of Teri (late Russell) Dettmering, Laurie (Michael) Hardwick, Beth (John Kendra) Wilbourn, and Timothy (Stephanie) Baker. Step mother of Erik Basler and Thomas (Susan Jagers) Basler. Devoted “Nina“ to her grandchildren Amy and Brian Dettmering, Stefani Lindsay, Adam Sinks, Nicole Hardwick, Brenna Baker, Rheanne Kendra, Sage and Lily Basler. Daughter of the late Marguerite nee Bonas and John Ryan. A celebration of Barb’s life will be held at Panozzo Bros. Funeral Home, 530 W. 14th St. (US Rt 30, 3 blks E. of Western Ave.), Chicago Heights on Sunday November 27th from 2:00 PM until time of Memorial Service at 6:00 PM.
