Benjamin Ortigara age 91. Longtime Chicago Ridge resident formerly of Chicago’s Roseland neighborhood. Proud owner and operator of Ortigara’s Musicville. An accomplished musician, Ben received his B.A. in Music from DePaul University. Husband of the late Joan Rae nee Blodgett. Father of Anna Christine (John Lazaar) Ortigara, Michelle (Emil) Boucek, Deborah (Charles) Barnes, Lisa (Joseph) Ortigara-Crego, Michael (Cheryl) and Daniel Ortigara. Grandfather of 10, great grandfather of 12. Brother of Mary Ortigara and Mario (late Cecilia) Ortigara. Beloved uncle and dear friend of many. Visitation Sunday November 19th from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Palos Gaidas Funeral Home, 11028 South Southwest Highway (7700W), Palos Hills, IL, 60465. Funeral services and burial private.
