Betty Hlavach nee Bellis age 82. Longtime Chicago Heights resident passed away June 13th in Portage, IN. Retired seamstress for Carson Pirie Scott & Co. in Matteson. Wife for 57 years of the late Albert “Fooko” Hlavach. Mother of Michael Sabo, Stephanie (late Edward) King and Jeffrey (Dana) Hlavach. Grandmother of seven, great grandmother of two. Sister of the Dorothy (Gary) Nelson. Sister-in-law of Robert Hlavach and the late Ann Napoli, Marge Pavisich, Mary Becker, Josephine Kar, Paul and Steve Hlavach. A celebration of life and memorial service will be held on Saturday June 23rd from 12 noon until time of services at 3:00 PM. Burial was private. For further information call Panozzo Bros.
