Betty J. Mandarino. Age 82. Crete resident formerly of Steger and Chicago’s South Side. Passed away peacefully February 14, 2019. Attended James Madison School and South Shore High School. Worked as a cashier at Perry Drug Store and Retired from Creative Publications Idea School Supply. Loving mother of Daniel (Debra) Owczarzak and Dawn (Tim) Wolf. Special grandma of Jessica and Jenna Wolf. Daughter of the late Amelia nee Frangella and James Mandarino. Sister of Mary Mandarino and the late Sarah (late Joseph) Fionda and Carmella (late Frank) DiCosola. Aunt and friend of many. Betty was a proud Italian who loved to cook, bake and sew. Lifelong Cubs fan and most of all, loved being a Nana to her “two angels”. Funeral services were private.
