Oosterbaan, Brandt J. Oosterbaan age 83. Longtime Flossmoor resident formerly of Chicago’s Roseland neighborhood. Beloved husband for 59 years of Noreen nee Kopp. Loving father of Brandt (Tara), Gregory (Amanda) Oosterbaan, Marybeth (Stan) Beyler, Kathy Oosterbaan, Janice (Tim) Coleman, Sandra (Derek) Phillips and the late Karen Oosterbaan. Loving grandfather of 14 and great grandfather of 3. Son of the late Katherine nee Beemsterboer and Jerry Oosterbaan. Brother of Virginia (John) Flynn, Ronald (Rita) and the late Jeremiah (Danielle) and Peter (Donna) Oosterbaan. Past President of Oosterbaan and Sons Painting Company and the Chicago Painting and Decorators Contractors Association. Past Trustee of Chicago Painters Pension and Welfare Funds. U.S. Army Veteran/Korean War. Brandt faced his recent battle with cancer, as he lived his own life, with strength and dignity. Resting at Panozzo Bros. Funeral Home, 530 W. 14th St. (US Rt. 30, 3 blks E. of Western Ave.), Chicago Heights on Sunday March 18th from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Funeral Monday 9:15 AM to Infant Jesus of Prague Church, 1101 Douglas Ave., Flossmoor. Mass 10:00 AM. Interment Assumption Cemetery, Glenwood.
