Carl A. Pisterzi, age 89, passed away peacefully on Wednesday morning at the Illinois Veterans Home in Manteno. A lifelong Chicago Heights resident, he spent his winters in Deerfield Beach, Fla. Retired Brick Mason. U.S. Coast Guard Veteran. Husband of the late Irma nee Fleck and Roberta nee Boyd. Father of Joseph (Laura) and the late Carl Jr. (Kathleen) Pisterzi. Grandfather of Carla (Marc) Wojtczak, Anthony (Liz) Pisterzi, Gina (Mark) Finney and Mia (Phil) Taets. “Great Papa” of Molly, Aidan, Dylan, Claire, Brenna, Andrew, Sophie, and Maxwell.
