Carmella and her husband Deacon Edward Ryan were a longtime Deaconal Couple for the Archdiocese of Chicago. Mother of Richard (Faye), David (Suzanne) and the late Thomas (Mary Lou) Ryan. Grandmother of Sean (Blanca) Ryan, Christine (Dennis) Dowling, Lisa Ryan, Jessie Bower, Lisa (Charles) Crawford, Joseph Bower, Jennifer (Gregory) Buss, Joel (Melissa) Ryan, Holly (Robert) Holme, Michelle (Bryan) Wade, Steven (April) and Brian (Karrie) Miller. Loving “Nona” to her great grandchildren Jay, Brendan, Finnegan, Liam, Andrew, James, Abel, Nathaniel, Zachary, Ruby, Olive, Sydney, Jackson, Thomas, Adelyn and Beau. Daughter of the late Anna nee Napoli and Attilio Sartori. Sister of Romia (late Richard) Dudzik and the late Anthony (Sheila) Sartori. Mother-in-law of the late Deborah (nee Kowalski). Beloved “Aunt Carm” to her many nieces and nephews.
