Carol J. Blue nee Guschke age 80. Longtime Chicago Heights resident, born and raised in Chicago’s Chatham area. A Mercy High School graduate, Carol was a friendly face for over 20 years at the Hallmark Store in Olympia Plaza. Wife for 61 years of Kenneth D. Blue. Mother of Thomas (Mary Anne), Timothy (Mary Helen), Gary (Susan), Brian, Keith (Elizabeth) and the late Stephen Blue. Grandmother of Anne (Jason) Siegler, Matthew (Katie) Blue, Julie (Adam) Dauksas, Samuel, Lucy, Carly, Taylor, Emily, Hannah, Sarah and Julia. Great grandmother of Jackson. Sister of Joyce (Robert) Whalen and the late Donna (Roy) Janota. Beloved aunt and dear friend of many. Resting at Panozzo Bros. Funeral Home, 530 W. 14th St. (U.S. Rt. 30, 3 blks E. of Western Ave.), Chicago Heights on Thursday July 11th from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM.
