Charlene V. McAvoy nee Davis age 86. A longtime Matteson resident, homemaker and Master Bridge Player who loved to travel, read and knit, passed away peacefully on Sept 10th with her family at her side. Wife for 64 years of the late Robert J. McAvoy. Mother of Sandy (Lowell) Harp, Donna (Jim) Bandy, Timothy (Cindy) McAvoy, Jill McAvoy, Mark (Denise) McAvoy, Neal (Linda) McAvoy, and Erin (Cid) Drisi. "Gramma" of twenty-one. Great "Gramma Mac" of twenty-two. Sister of the late Rita Lowan, Annegrace Marjan, Thomas and baby Virginia Davis. Beloved aunt and devoted friend to many. Resting at Panozzo Bros. Funeral Home, 530 W. 14th St (US Rt. 30, 3 Blks E. of Western Ave) Chicago Heights on Tuesday September 13th from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM.
